● What happens on the flight deck
Activity- Examine an Aircraft and demonstrate proper preflight procedures
Day 2 - Flight Controls and Basic Maneuvers
● Discuss types of Aircraft
● Discuss types of flight controls
● Yoke vs Ruddes - When to use what?
● Intro to Attitude Instrument flying
● Discuss Avionics
Activity - Aircraft Emergency Thinking - What are our options?
Day 3 - Airspace, Airports, and Talking like a Pilot
● Learn Airport Layouts
● Traffic Pattern Basics
● Intro to radio communication
● Understanding U.S Airspace
● Practice ATC calls and review Pilot mistakes with real ATC audio
